After a year of being with East Mountain as resident interns, the time has arrived where Natasha, Lorenzo, and Lutando are ready to move back into their respective worlds. These three interns have spent this year with East Mountain working to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ, become more founded in their theological education, and gain valuable work and leadership experience. In January these three came to East Mountain to develop as Christian leaders and the time has arrived for us to send these three back out into the world, more ready for global missional service.

As part of their departure process, last week Mark and Rhonda facilitated an intern debriefing for Natasha, Lorenzo, and Lutando. The debrief time was spent looking back over the year, journaling, discussing the changes and growth in their lives and seeing what God has been doing in each one of them. They also took time preparing for how to share with people about their experiences as East Mountain interns. For their final send-off, Friday evening the East Mountain community, along with many of the three interns’ families and friends gathered together to celebrate their journeys and accomplishments. This night was a time to pause, reflect, and send out the interns in community through prayer. Please pray for Natasha, Lorenzo, and Lutando as they leave East Mountain and return to their families, churches, and home communities.
